Adolescents experience profound physical and psychological changes. These transitions bring about a sense of uniqueness and independence. Managing emotions during this time of discovery can be difficult, but developing knowledge and life skills can help struggling teens acquire the abilities to navigate and enjoy they adolescent years. Looking at situations through a different lends can help struggling teens acquire the abilities to navigate and enjoy the adolescent years. Looking at situations through a different lends and perspective can build empathy, awareness and understanding. As embedded in my business name, Power of Perspective, the ability to see different perspectives can be life-changing and liberating by building a sense of control over one’s emotions.

I use a goal oriented, client-centered approach which is based on the skill of perspective taking and cognitive behavioral therapy. The journey through adolescence is unique to each client and their cognitive developmental stage. My supportive approach takes individuality and each unique situation into account.

Having over twenty eight years of experience working with children and adolescents in various capacities, I can offer the support needed to ensure a smooth journey through these developmental years.
